I was born in Winnipeg Manitoba and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Computer Science. After more than 30 years as a computer professional, I let loose my creativity to discover my inner artist. Playing with rubber stamps led to the discovery of Artist Trading Cards and collage. Encouraged to go bigger, I applied to the CARFAC mentorship program in 2009 to learn about being an artist. With the support of my mentor, Gerri Ann Siwek, I discovered watercolour pigments and ink and have not stopped exploring. I reside in Regina with my family.
Short Bio
My art practice has 2 components- painting and collage. My paintings start with bursts of colour. Then I find the picture with a pen. It’s called Pareidolia. Children can do it, and the ability can be re-learned if lost.
