OSAC Highlights


With the arrival of 2026, OSAC is proud to reflect on and share the many exciting achievements of 2025.

Over the year, 13 visual arts exhibitions toured to 60 venues throughout Saskatchewan, reaching more than 33,000 visitors and generating approximately 590 guided tours. Of these audiences, close to 1400 people took part in accompanying programming such as artist talks, hands-on workshops, gallery receptions, and other events.

Showcase 2025 lit up Regina, drawing 197 delegates from across the province. With support from 15 sponsors, the event featured 14 performing arts showcases, 4 visual arts exhibitions, and the work of 10 talented artists. It was packed with learning opportunities—and plenty of fun.

OSAC Performing Arts Members presented 151 performances in 34 Saskatchewan communities by 30 different artists, including performances by Aliya Kanani, Connie Kaldor, George Canyon & Aaron Pritchett - A Coast to Coast Cowboy Christmas, Jâca, Jess Moskaluke, John Muirhead, Lisa Brokop, Kate Ryan, Lee Siegel, Prairie Sons & Susan Aglukark.

Performing Arts in Schools toured Candy Bones Theatre: “Oopsie” in Spring 2025 and three tours in Fall 2025: Aytahn Ross: Professor Wow & The Invisible World of Science; Green Thumb Theatre: The Shape of a Girl by Joan MacLeod; and Sitruc James: Making Bullying Disappear. These performances took place in a total of 72 schools in 64 communities, spanning the province from Eastend to La Loche, for a total audience of approx.16,000 students.
