Kipling & District Arts Council was formed in 1986 and has been dedicated to bringing outstanding performing arts to our community ever since.  We are a proud member of the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils (OSAC), and our season runs from October to April each year.

    Where: Kipling Community Centre
    Munro and Patrick command the stage with poignant originals and innovative renditions of beloved cover songs and were recently awarded SCMA Group of the Year for 2024. Their performances epitomize the duo's exceptional vocal harmony and undeniable on-stage chemistry. With years of audience interaction and honing their songwriting skills, Heidi and Scott effortlessly engage crowds with their stories and banter, akin to a warm summer night's campfire. Their soul-stirring original tunes captivate hearts, drawing inspiration from their musical roots, and their cover selection spans Motown, 70s Disco, RnB, jazz, country, and rock, delivering a blend reminiscent of Chris Stapleton, Emmylou Harris, Joe Cocker, and Bonnie Raitt.

  • Rumour Mill

    Rumour Mill
    When: February 04, 2025 7:30 pm
    Where: Kipling Community Centre
    Rumour Mill, led by lifetime friends Anna Katarina and Aline Deanna, creates inclusive music that resonates globally. As songwriters, multi-instrumentalists, producers, and performers, they push genre and social norms. Their 4-piece band live show highlights songs from their recent album, What She Said, showcasing a sound akin to Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow and First Aid Kit. The show is dynamic and engaging, with rotating lead vocals, 3-part harmonies and varied instrumentation blending traditional fiddle and mandolin with electric guitar and keyboards. Rumour Mill's goal is to connect with audiences, making each performance enjoyable and relatable through humour and meaningful lyrics.
