Payadora

Payadora Ensemble is an award-winning chamber group blending Argentine/Uruguayan tango with classical, jazz, and world music. Hailed as a "superstar group" (WholeNote), they won the 2024 Folk Music Ontario Award and Germany’s Weltmusikpreis RUTH award. Their acclaimed album Silent Tears topped the World Music Charts Europe and earned international praise from the BBC, NPR, CBC, and others.
