Ensemble Made in Canada

The Juno Award-winning Ensemble Made In Canada is recognized as the country’s premier piano quartet. Members Elissa Lee (violin), Sheila Jaffé (viola), Trey Lee (cello), and Philip Chiu (piano) each bring outstanding careers to the ensemble’s dynamic voice. EMIC tours extensively across Canada, the U.S., and Europe and champions Canadian music, commissioning works like A Road to Wesleyville and the Juno-winning Mosaïque album. They have taught master classes and workshops across North America and served as Ensemble-in-Residence at Western University (2014-2020). EMIC is supported by FACTOR, the Canada Council for the Arts, and the Ontario Arts Council.
