Clarinetist Wesley Ferreira and guitarist Jaxon Williams define their style as world music fused with personality, and are unafraid to experiment with that which captures their fancy - fresh takes on classics as well as composition from emerging artists. Highly skilled musicians and educators, both Wesley and Jaxon hold doctorates in music. Wesley performs worldwide as soloist, orchestral and chamber musician. International award-winning guitarist Jaxon is a former Fulbright scholar and master of the Spanish guitar repertoire. Ballet Jörgen’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a whimsical adaptation of Shakespeare’s beloved comedy, blending love, mischief, and magic with Mendelssohn’s iconic score, including the "Wedding March." Choreographed by Bengt Jörgen, this version pays tribute to Canada’s North, reimagining the enchanted forest with moose, bears, and other native creatures. The family-friendly ballet features professional dancers and invites local youth (ages 9-17) to perform through the Local Participant Program.
