Notice of OSAC Annual General Meeting
The OSAC Board of Directors would like to invite you to the 2018 Annual General Meeting of the OSAC membership Saturday, October 13, 2018. The agenda, 2017 Minutes and financials will be available soon. There are 4 openings on the OSAC Board of Directors as well as the position of Board Chair.

Directors (4) Alfredo Converso - Canora Arts Council, Jacqueline Ferraton – QPRAC - Wynyard Branch, Fran Karakochuk - Prince Albert Council for the Arts and fourth nominee.

The Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils (OSAC) together with its member Arts Councils across the province are excited to announce the upcoming 2018/2019 season, which will be the 50th Anniversary season for the organization. This season, OSAC and its member Arts Councils will present 163 performances by 50 different artists in 32 Saskatchewan Communities! 

The season will be full of musical performances from pop, world and folk to theatre and dance for both general and young audiences. Some highlights include: Jann Arden, Heather Rankin, Ghostboy, Pretty Archie, James Hill & Anne Janelle and so many more talented artists. Click here to find out the exciting list of performers!
OSAC is offering a Youth Bursary for Arts Councils to bring youth attendees to Showcase 2018.  (“Youth” is defined as 29 years of age in the year of 2018 or younger.) Arts councils can register a youth and be eligible to receive the amount back - up to a maximum of 2 youth registrations per arts council. The registration fee includes all conference activities and meals. It does not include the cost of accommodation or travel.

The OSAC Board of Directors will again be coordinating the Silent Auction at Showcase. The OSAC Board of Directors is pleased to announce two new inductees as OSAC Life Members.

Ethel Liska – Biggar & District Arts Council – a long time member of the Arts Council who has who has served on the Arts Council Board, including as Chair as well as many other organizations within the community.

Mary Ann Nostbakken – Biggar & District Arts Council - also a long-time member of the Biggar & District Arts Council. Mary Ann has served in a number of roles in the Arts Council , including 2 terms as President and also acted as a mentor for many newcomers to the Arts Council over the years.
OSAC together with its member Arts Councils across the province are excited to announce the upcoming 2017/2018 season. 165 performances will be presented by 43 different artists in 35 Saskatchewan Communities! Please read the media release HERE.
